We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer - Associate to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing satellite hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement innovative solutions for satellite hardware and software.
- Design, build, and test satellite components and systems, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD software, analytical tools, and electromechanical system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- US Citizenship or Green Card.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with satellite systems, propulsion systems, or thermal analysis.
- Knowledge of software-defined radio payload and geostationary orbit operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
