Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at UW Medical Center - Montlake. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for procedures.
- Operate and maintain various medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- 2 years of experience in a cath lab or related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
