Position Overview

Location: Bedford, PA

Schedule: Full-Time - (Varies Between Day and Evening Shifts) OR (12:30 PM - 9 PM Sunday-Thursday)

Compensation: Starting at $16.50 per hour, based on experience. Additionally, an extra $5/hour is offered for taking on extra weekend home health shifts, in addition to your regular schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Community Care Aide / Home Health Aide, you will assist our program participants (aged 55 and older) with their daily living activities (ADLs) in their homes. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with bathing and showering
  • Helping with toileting and dressing
  • Meal preparation and feeding
  • Light housekeeping tasks
  • Occasional support at the day center as required
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year (12 months) of experience in providing care for the elderly or frail
  • A valid PA Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory
