Commercial Handyman

We are seeking a skilled Construction and Electronics Technician to assist our team with various tasks in multi-family construction and office electronics. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and develop hands-on skills in installing and connecting electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Construction Projects: Perform construction tasks such as cabinet installation, light trim work, tiling, and site preparation.
- Electronic Device Installation: Learn how to mount, connect, and configure electronic devices, including televisions, media boards, and smart systems under supervision.
- Hands-On Learning: Gain knowledge by working closely with experienced professionals to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction plans.
- Site Inspections: Participate in on-site inspections and help ensure the construction and installation processes meet quality and safety standards.
- Team Support: Assist electricians, carpenters, and other construction workers to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Maintenance and Repair: Help in diagnosing and resolving any issues with electronic systems or construction defects during and after installation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic Construction Experience: Hands-on experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Proficient in the use of basic construction tools.
- Interest in Electronics: A demonstrated interest in electronics, with a willingness to learn how to install and connect devices such as TVs, media boards, and other equipment.
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to take direction, work hard, and show a willingness to learn on the job.
- Problem-Solving: A keen interest in learning how to troubleshoot and resolve construction and electronics-related challenges.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with customer project managers, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various environments.
