Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting pediatric patient assessments and evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care under the authorization of a physician. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to design effective treatment plans and communicate progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric patient assessments and evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and personal goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions, and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Assess and document patient progress, and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance agencies.
  • Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure comprehensive care plans for patients.
Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program.
  • Current and unrestricted NV Speech Therapy license; or ability to apply.
  • At least one year of experience as a pediatric speech therapist is preferred.
  • Continued education requirements maintained.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
