Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Primary Care Clinic team in Baton Rouge. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care, including IV therapy, within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interact with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.
- Demonstrate professional responsibilities and be responsible for own practice, assisting other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
- Good interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
