BIM Technician

**About the Role**

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to support our Florida Water Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing complex CADD/REVIT assignments, focusing on process piping, water, and wastewater projects.

**Responsibilities**

Operate with minimal supervision to execute complex CADD/REVIT assignments, focusing on process piping, water, and wastewater projects.

May be responsible for all or part of a project.

Train and supervise others on project work flow.

CADD/REVIT drawing production, providing support to the CADD manager.

Utilize advanced AutoCAD skills, creating and editing existing assignments with precision to meet deadlines using software such as AutoCAD, and Revit.

Digitizes or traces design concepts from engineers and designers using CADD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

Makes informed decisions within the framework of company policies and business practices to meet project goals and deadlines.

Understands the broader impact of the work and proactively recommends solutions to improve processes and outcomes.

Determines methods and procedures for new assignments and may provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced drafters.

**Requirements**

BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience/education.

6+ years of experience with AutoCAD.

3+ years of experience with Revit, specifically in process piping, water, and wastewater projects.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Extensive experience (5+ years) in process mechanical drafting, particularly in water and wastewater projects.

Strong knowledge of related engineering disciplines.

Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Experience with Revit is highly valued.
