Key Responsibilities:
The Life & Health Account Representative will be responsible for:
- Upholding SmartBank's Core Values and Purpose.

- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Managing existing accounts through phone interactions and in-office consultations.
- Preparing and marketing insurance quotes and proposals for designated accounts.
- Processing and completing insurance applications, enrollments, change requests, and terminations as necessary.
- Handling renewals for carriers and updating management systems for assigned accounts.
- Reviewing new products from both new and existing companies.
- Managing monthly expiration lists for assigned lines of business.
- Shopping for competitive renewals with multiple carriers as required.
- Updating customer electronic files in the management system as needed.
- Participating in various training and educational seminars as requested by management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance sector (preferred).
- Appropriate insurance licensing (preferred).
