Key Responsibilities
- Execute administrative and select clinical tasks under the supervision of a physician.
- Administrative tasks may encompass scheduling patient appointments, managing medical records, and processing billing and coding for insurance claims.
- Clinical responsibilities may involve preparing examination rooms, recording vital signs and patient histories, assisting patients during examinations, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by the physician.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience in a medical clinic setting.
- BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
