General Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Helper to join our team at Livonia Public Schools. As a General Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our food service operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of meals to our students.

The General Helper will assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties in our school cafeterias. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a supportive role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Assist with food preparation, including food handling, preparation, and presentation
• Help with serving meals to students, including setting up and cleaning up after meals
• Perform cleaning duties, including sanitizing equipment and maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends
