Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a key member of our athletic training department, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing athletic training services for student-athletes, ensuring safety and compliance with state and national regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program for the contracted organization
  • Provide AT services for athletic events and competition
  • Create and maintain a safe playing environment by monitoring and controlling environmental risks
  • Coordinate, manage, and implement the medical and risk management of all athletes, inclusive of preventative care (taping, bracing, etc.), emergency care (CPR, first aid, etc.), and maintains health records for athletes affiliated with contracted organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training (CAATE Approved program) and completion of the BOC certification
  • Maintain the BOC-required 50 CEU's per certification period (every two years)
  • Licensed by the State of New York as an Athletic Trainer
  • Current BLS certification
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
  • Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus including relocation reimbursement up to $2,500
