We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in the education and development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, continuing education, and in-services.
- Collaborate with facility/market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming.
- Act as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff, providing guidance, resources, and knowledge for professional growth.
- Participate in quality performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership to preceptors and serve as a role model through educational programs and ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Mentor colleagues, other nurses, students, and others as appropriate, to support their growth in the profession and clinical practice.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in area of specialization.
- Experience in the teaching and learning process.
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of MA.
- BLS, ACLS.
- Certification in clinical specialty required.
