Job Title: Roofing Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Roofing Estimator to join our team at BK Outlooks. As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from design to execution, creating detailed estimates, and analyzing requirement documents to determine project costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple projects from design to execution, including high-end custom roof systems with complicated roofs.
  • Create detailed estimates for residential and commercial projects, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs.
  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Determine factors of production that will influence project costs.
  • Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system.
  • Generate job cost reports and develop relationships with company vendors and contractors.
  • Perform hand-off meetings with assigned project managers and present prepared estimates to management.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Florida roofing.
  • Experience with Estimating Edge estimating software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
