At Big O Tires - New Albany/Jeffersonville, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Tire Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional tire and wheel services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tire and Wheel Services: Mounting and dismounting automotive tires, installing new wheels, attaching and re-balancing wheels, repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Performing oil changes, flushes, and maintenance, calibrating TPMS, and testing and installing batteries.
  • Inventory Management: Stocking inventory and participating in training and safety procedures.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
  • Age and Availability: Must be at least 18 years old and available to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation to work is required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials, safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, and work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to 10 hours per shift and move and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Background Check: Ability to meet company requirements including a successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check.
