The successful candidate will work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities, to ensure they receive the support and care they need. This role involves assisting the teacher in implementing educational objectives and performance standards, as well as collaborating with families to promote parent involvement in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for preschool children.
- Work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities, to ensure they receive the support and care they need.
- Collaborate with families to promote parent involvement in the program.
- Assist the teacher in carrying out the goals, policies, and activities designed to implement educational objectives and performance standards.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support program operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Experience working with preschool children preferred.
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
