Pharmacy Student Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Pharmacy Student to join our team at Novant Health. As a Pharmacy Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical and operational pharmacy services for assigned areas, optimizing the quality of patient care under the supervision of a preceptor.

• Participate in key services such as vaccination programs, medication listing, discharge counseling, medication navigation, and medication therapy management.
• Provide education for pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding proper drug therapy.
• Conduct research and quality improvement projects to enhance pharmacy services.
• Support pharmacy operations to develop a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of pharmaceutical care within the hospital or community pharmacy settings.

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
• Completion of 2nd year curriculum at an accredited school/college of pharmacy.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on pharmacy school coursework.
• Preferred: Hospital or community pharmacy experience, Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Certification, and/or NCBOP Registration.
