Job Summary
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric hospitalist to join our team at Tufts Medicine. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care, teach and mentor medical students, residents, and physician assistant students, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the hospital setting
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and physician assistant students in the clinical setting
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital efficiency
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in pediatrics
- Eligibility for certification in pediatric hospital medicine (PHM) is welcome but not required
- Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of clinicians
- Interest in delivering care in a community-based environment with a strong support network
- Commitment to providing equitable access to high-quality healthcare for pediatric patients
- Interest in evidence-based medicine, quality improvement, and academic growth
