Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls on MRI equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as required
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for MRI scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional MRI procedures
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label accordingly
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Work effectively to maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as an MRI Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (MRI) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
