Compensation Details
Weekly pay: $2,600

Role Summary
The primary responsibility of a cardiac catheterization lab nurse involves utilizing heart catheterization equipment. This device is inserted into the heart's arteries to assess cardiac conditions and may also be employed for treatment of specific heart ailments. Additionally, these nurses support physicians during the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators for patients with heart diseases. They play a crucial role in assisting with various procedures such as angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, and other catheterization techniques.

Essential Qualifications
Mandatory Onboarding Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • Cardiac Cath Lab RN Certification
  • Skills in Cath Lab Nursing
  • Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing)
  • Medication Error Prevention Training
  • Pharmacology for RNs
