Academic/Faculty/Research Physician Assistant Opportunity

Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health is seeking a highly skilled Academic/Faculty/Research Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare education and research.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our physician assistant program, working closely with experienced faculty and staff to deliver high-quality education and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in the physician assistant program
  • Conduct research in collaboration with faculty and staff
  • Develop and implement educational programs and curricula
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Experience in academic teaching and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
