Job Title: Substitute Educator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Substitute Educator to provide instruction and support to students in a classroom setting. As a Substitute Educator, you will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement existing lesson plans and ensure the integrity of academic time
  • Supervise students in out-of-class settings, such as assemblies and lunchrooms
  • Assume duties of the regular classroom teacher and maintain classroom control
  • Provide individualized support to students and address their learning needs
  • Communicate with parents and school staff to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements:
  • Meet state requirements for education qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively
  • Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with school staff and students
