Pharmacist Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to lead our Hematology/Oncology team at Dayton Children's. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and storage of Hazardous Medications, ensuring compliance with USP 800 requirements and professional standards.

You will also provide expert consultative services in oncology and supportive care/symptom management, working closely with our Clinical Hem/Onc Pharmacist and Hematology/Oncology Staff to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, with experience in hazardous medication handling and training. A Registered Pharmacist license in Ohio is required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee preparation and storage of Hazardous Medications
• Ensure compliance with USP 800 requirements and professional standards
• Provide expert consultative services in oncology and supportive care/symptom management
• Collaborate with Clinical Hem/Onc Pharmacist and Hematology/Oncology Staff to ensure optimal patient care

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree
• Rph Ohio - Registered pharmacist - Ohio State Board of Pharmacy

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
