New York Institute of Technology is seeking an experimental physicist for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics or Applied Physics and postdoctoral experience in experimental research.
About the PositionThe faculty member will be responsible for extending our departmental research portfolio to cutting-edge experimental studies, teaching and developing new undergraduate physics courses, and pursuing external funding to support their research.
Key Responsibilities- Lead research projects that advance existing areas of expertise.
- Develop and teach new undergraduate physics courses.
- Pursue external funding to support research initiatives.
- Collaborate with undergraduate students on research projects.
- Contribute to service activities within the university community.
