Job Summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Systematic Skill Building Specialist to join our team. As a Systematic Skill Building Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to acquire and maintain skills that improve their daily-living, domestic, adaptive, and socialization skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support individuals in learning, maintaining, or improving skills through participation in various activities of everyday life
  • Engage in activities with individuals to enable them to live in the community, live more independently, or be more productive and participatory in community life
  • Submit accurate and complete daily progress notes for each shift worked with an individual
  • Maintain annual 24-hour training requirements
Requirements
  • Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
  • Must have a valid driver's license and existing insurance
  • Must be willing to complete given background checks
  • Must be willing to drive individuals in a personal car throughout the community
  • Must have flexible availability
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
