About the Role:

Fauquier Health is seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join its team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and direct clinically appropriate patient care to individuals or groups of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current Virginia State RN License
  • Basic Life Support BLS certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification (required within 30 days for new hires)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS certification (required within 30 days for new hires)
  • Certified Emergency Nurse CEN certification (required within 2 years of hire)
  • Previous ED experience
  • Previous Charge RN experience (preferred)
