- Patient and Family Engagement: Initiate and provide ongoing patient and family education, ensuring their active involvement in care planning and promoting a positive patient experience.
- Collaborative Approach: Maintain open communication with physicians, ancillary services, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for each patient.
- Professional Standards: Uphold and exceed standards of professional nursing practice, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills, and delegating tasks judiciously.
- Continuous Improvement: Embrace a commitment to quality patient care and strive to maximize clinical performance measures for each patient, driving excellence in patient outcomes.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an A.D.N. or nursing diploma.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain licensure in the State of Alaska.
- Skills: Showcase leadership ability, organizational skills, and proficiency in computer software, with effective communication skills and an understanding of government standards.
- Frequent periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
