The Lead Residential Advisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Social Development areas within Job Corps. This role involves supervising staff and trainees to ensure a safe and secure environment, as well as conducting small group meetings and coordinating services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and trainees to ensure compliance with Social Development area policies and procedures.
  • Conduct small group meetings to discuss important issues and provide guidance.
  • Coordinate services and resolve problems that arise in the Social Development areas.
  • Supervise students in the performance of work details and maintain accurate records.
  • Restock dorm supplies and prepare student luggage for shipping.
  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies to each dormitory.
  • Implement Social Development programs and procedures in the dormitories.
  • Provide training and feedback to staff and students.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans for staff and students who do not meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
