Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge to manage critical tasks and lead significant assignments.
  • Address vulnerabilities and threats to Information Technology (IT) Systems, National Security Systems (NSS), and Automated Information Systems (AIS).
  • Implement the Department of Defense (DOD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support the System Security Manager (ISSM) in executing security controls and reviewing RMF documentation.
  • Assist Program Management Offices with Cybersecurity-related acquisition documentation and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Facilitate the integration of Cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST throughout the system life-cycle design and deployment.
  • Maintain compliance with DOD Inspector General (IG) Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, participate in inspections, and evaluate corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice on complex computer security systems and recommend security operations based on established guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver formal training programs for computer and information security requirements.
  • Analyze existing computer security programs for vulnerabilities and translate training needs into effective educational media.
  • Manage incident coordination with local Network Enterprise Centers (NEC) and Computer Emergency Response Teams.
  • Generate analytical reports and process information in accordance with program procedures.
  • Contribute technical insights and documentation to enhance understanding of computer security incidents.
  • Assist with policy, programmatic, budget, and doctrine issues related to Cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Recognized subject matter expert in Cybersecurity with the ability to lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • Security + Certification.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. U.S. Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
