Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Technician to join our ICU team at Gundersen Lutheran Administrative. As a Critical Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to critically ill patients in our 20-bed Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care and support to critically ill patients
* Assist with patient transports and transfers
* Set up patient rooms and monitor telemetry
* Collect lab specimens and perform technical procedures with physician direction
* Collaborate with RNs, MDs, PAs, and NPs to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalency
* 6 months experience in healthcare with direct patient care
* Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic - Wisconsin (EMT-P) or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P) or Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement (CCEMT-P)
* Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross
