Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Therapist to join our team at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. As a Speech Language Pathologist Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to patients in our adult outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' language, articulation, voice, and dysphagia skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech and language needs.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in speech and language therapy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina.
  • Experience working with adult populations, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
