Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a clinic setting. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare providers, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, tests, and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Observe, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to medications or treatments to healthcare providers.
  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring timely flow and prioritizing emergency situations.
  • Collect patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and test results, and document accurately.
  • Perform various tasks, such as blood collection, vital sign measurement, and specimen collection, as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and update patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in professional development activities, staying current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Support and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's mission, values, and cultural diversity objectives.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
  • Valid state license to practice nursing.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
