Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all facets of the company's accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for various departments.
3. Establishing and maintaining a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and US GAAP.
4. Supervising the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
5. Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process.
6. Collaborating with senior management to shape the company's strategic direction and support tactical initiatives.
7. Monitoring and guiding the execution of strategic business plans.
8. Developing financial and tax strategies.
9. Managing the capital request and budgeting processes.
10. Creating performance metrics and monitoring systems aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or CPA is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management capacity with a proven success record.
3. In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
4. Experience in the construction sector is highly desirable.
5. Strong analytical abilities and a track record of translating strategic visions into operational frameworks.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced accounting software knowledge.
7. Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels, with strong oral, written, and persuasive abilities.
8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
9. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. High integrity and reliability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
