REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in Algorithm design
- Experience in Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and/or Digital communications
- Expertise in the RF domain
- Possession of an active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is mandatory prior to commencement. U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
As a Lead Systems Architect specializing in Digital Signal Processing, you will guide technical teams and provide design oversight to software development groups and other engineering staff.
Your role will involve conducting technical evaluations and defining system operations, including the creation of use cases and specification of system interfaces.
In this capacity, you will deliver engineering support and strategic direction for the execution of a segment of the program's systems engineering initiatives. To excel in this position, you should possess experience in the software development lifecycle utilizing Agile methodologies, along with a background in Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and/or RF domains, digital communications, and Algorithm design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Algorithms and prototypes
- Supporting a software development systems engineering role utilizing Agile methodologies
- Engaging with clients and end-users
- Providing updates and briefings to program management and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Xmidas
- Experience in Agile development methodologies as they pertain to software engineering
- Strong communication skills across all levels of management
- Leadership experience in Systems Engineering
- Systems Engineering experience on large-scale government software projects
- Experience in an Agile or DevOps development environment, collaborating closely with Software and Integration teams
* While an hourly range is provided for this position, the final hourly rate is determined through a comprehensive salary analysis that considers various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, education, and experience compared to others in similar roles, as well as market and business considerations.
