Townsen Memorial Hospital is a leading healthcare provider with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As a PRN Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare the OR suite for each case, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
- Manage instruments and supplies, anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
- Assist with all surgeries, demonstrating a high level of competence and adaptability.
- Ensure safe and efficient room turnover, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech.
- Formal education in surgical technology and assisting.
- Orthopedic and Spine Procedures experience.
- Knowledge of sterile processing best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma from an approved Surgical Technologist Program and/or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification from an accredited program or completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the army, navy, air force, marine corps, or coast guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
- Current BLS.
- Monday through Friday PRN.
- 8-hour dayshift.
