We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
The Department of Pediatrics offers a vibrant and engaging environment for medical professionals.
Our Children's Hospital has recently undergone significant expansion.
About Us:
We are a growing division with a team of 7 physicians (5 full-time), supported by 1 CRNP (with plans to recruit a second), and a comprehensive array of ancillary staff, including:
- Excellent administrative support
- 4 full-time diabetes nurse educators
- 2 endocrine nurses
- 2 dietitians
- 1 social worker
- An Infusion Center dedicated to endocrine stimulation testing
- A new outpatient clinic facility
What We Are Looking For:
- Board-certified (or Board Eligible) Pediatric Endocrinologist
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent international degree
- Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania (or willing to obtain a license)
- Clinical research interest is encouraged but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing care in outpatient endocrine and diabetes clinics
- Delivering inpatient consult services for 8-10 weeks annually
- Educating trainees and medical students
- Participating in shared call with fellow physicians, supported by a robust triage system
