Position Details:

This role requires a skilled RN with experience in Minor Care, Med Surg, and PCU. Flexibility to work in various departments is essential.

A valid WA nursing license is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient and family educational needs and provide appropriate educational resources.
  • Ensure patient safety through preventive measures, including the correct use of side rails and restraints.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment within the PCU/Telemetry/Med Surg areas and follow troubleshooting protocols.
  • Implement infection control measures and maintain documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and nursing interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and report critical lab values promptly.
  • Restock and maintain emergency supplies and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
