Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified Class A CDL Driver to facilitate the delivery of products to customer locations while providing exceptional service. This role emphasizes the importance of safety for all associates, clients, and the public by strictly following established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties of this position include:

  • Transporting and delivering merchandise to customer sites, ensuring loads are secured and balanced for safe transit.
  • Unloading products in accordance with customer instructions and company policies, while maintaining a clean and organized delivery area.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle at the start and end of each shift, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
  • Completing all necessary documentation for deliveries and pickups, ensuring accurate record-keeping of merchandise.
  • Providing outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and assisting with their needs as time permits.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment, including restocking unsold items and ensuring all areas are free of debris.
  • Participating in training programs and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license and a medical certification.
  • A high school diploma or GED, with three to four years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret safety regulations and operational instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling measurements and calculations.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and knowledge of building materials is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to lift and move items exceeding 100 pounds regularly, along with the capability to perform various physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing.

Work Environment:
Associates will work in diverse environments, including outdoor conditions and near mechanical equipment, with exposure to various elements.
