Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical examinations on new and reactivated patients
- Effectively discuss diagnoses and treatment options with patients, influencing them towards medically necessary treatments
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic procedures to establish a working diagnosis
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions
- Order and/or perform diagnostic procedures and studies, such as EMG/NCV, Diagnostic US, X-ray exams, and special exams
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including DME/Brace fitting, dispensing, and follow-up, Peripheral joint injections, joint and bursa aspirations/injections, and trigger point injections
- Order, prescribe, dispense, and administer medication, orthosis, orthotics, braces, and other orthopedic devices
- Conduct post-operative follow-up, writing orders and performing admission and discharge functions in the ASC setting
- Timely preparation and update of electronic patient records and billing submission
- Graduation from an accredited PA program
- PA license in NJ
- DEA license
- Willingness to travel to our 4 offices as needed
