The position is located at our global headquarters.

Your responsibilities and the impact you will have at Silgan Dispensing Systems:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments across all business facets to establish the overall enhancement agenda. Collaborate with business leaders to drive operational focus and improvement.
  • Oversee all Audit and Controlling functions: Internal/Substantive/Statutory Audit compliance, SOX compliance, Internal Controls, Accounting Policies and Procedures.
  • Strategic Business Support: Formulate strategies, manage M&A activities, develop commercial strategies and optimize margins, conduct capital and operational analyses, and perform competitor assessments.
  • Finance Administration: Manage Insurance, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Intercompany loans, Cash Management, Credit, Collections, Royalties, Transfer pricing; Oversee Working Capital Management.
  • Monthly Closing: Supervise the closing process, lead Monthly Performance Review meetings, and conduct Plant Financial Reviews.
  • FP&A: Oversee Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis, SG&A, Host Analytics, Bridges, Board of Directors meeting preparation, and operational and commercial productivity analysis.
  • SDS Divisional Information Technology: Facilitate SDS business processes - provide guidance and support as IT collaborates with the business on topics such as data management, application development, ERP and system integration, and reporting.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor the Finance Team and manage performance.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Strong analytical skills with a robust business partnering approach.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, extracting valuable insights to clarify complex financial topics for non-financial staff and guide decisions with the Leadership Team.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement: Objectivity and the courage to drive change.
  • MBA preferred; CPA or CMA designation is advantageous.
  • Experience in public accounting, plant controller, or divisional/corporate controller roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge across all financial domains including: accounting, FP&A, internal controls, audit, treasury, risk management, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Proven track record of developing, leading, and motivating large, multinational teams.
  • Familiarity with international/global accounting and finance practices.
  • Experience in leading Acquisitions and business integration.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and product costing methodologies.
