Biological Specimen Collector

Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Biological Specimen Collector to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting biological specimens at client sites for the purpose of conducting scientific testing.

• Sample Collection: Collect biological specimens at client sites, ensuring the integrity of the collection process and maintaining records for reporting purposes.
• Sample Preparation: Package specimens for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and sealed.
• Client Communication: Foster open communication between clients and Aegis Sales Management, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and complete required Compliance Training.
• Administrative Tasks: Order supplies, manage budget, and verify insurance information through Passport as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills, interacting with clients and staff at all levels, and maintaining a positive approach and attitude in patient interactions.

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Experience in the medical field is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work on multiple tasks without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, and basic computer knowledge.

Full-time position, up to 36 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
