Position Summary
National Guard Employment Network is in search of a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our lumber production facility. We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead initiatives focused on reliability and enhancements in maintenance processes.

The ideal candidate will oversee a diverse range of management and leadership responsibilities within the Maintenance Department, engaging with all operational sectors of the facility.

The successful applicant must prioritize safety, consistently exhibit a positive demeanor, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and work ethic.



Key Responsibilities:

Provide direction and technical support to teams responsible for all facets of facility maintenance, including Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation, and Mobile Equipment disciplines.

Uphold exceptional standards of safety and cleanliness
Exemplify caring leadership behaviors aligned with our core principles
Promote adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
Lead the development and enhancement of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and ensure their effective implementation across the facility.
Drive improvement initiatives and apply systematic thinking to resolve issues
Analyze maintenance metrics to monitor and enhance maintenance efficiency and reliability

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED is mandatory
A minimum of 5 years in a maintenance-related field
At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Proven success in cultivating and leading a maintenance team or organization
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with reliable maintenance methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
Demonstrated capability to manage supervisors and collaborate closely with other superintendents and managers
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Excellent planning and organizational abilities
Capacity to facilitate and guide teams through multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or other CMMS software
Willingness to travel occasionally to other units for technology exchange, innovations, and best practices
Ability to meet the physical demands of working in an industrial setting, including climbing stairs and working in extreme temperatures
Availability to support a 24/7 operational environment, which may include weekend and holiday duties as needed

Compensation:

This position is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, with a targeted salary range of $104,310 - $156,464 based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Additionally, you will be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay, with potential funding ranging from zero to two times that target.
