The Bungalows at Springfield East, a leading provider of quality dining services, is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join their team. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to make a meaningful impact.
As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that meet the highest standards of quality, quantity, and service. Your expertise will be essential in managing food production, adhering to sanitary procedures, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
One year of job-related experience in food preparation, including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
A current SERV Safe certificate or willingness to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe
Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour, based on industry standards and location considerations. Benefits may include competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences
Maintaining accurate records of food production, inventory, and quality control
Rotating menus and production sheets to ensure consistency and variety
