Job Summary

Key Position Details
  • FTE is flexible and will be based on applicant's preference
  • This position will have time split at both Owatonna and Faribault locations
Job Description

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during diagnostic, therapeutic, or surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include:

Principle Responsibilities
  • Provides anesthesia care, including general, regional, local, or sedation techniques
  • Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of patient, reviews orders, and obtains informed consent
  • Manages airway and cardiopulmonary status to maintain satisfactory physiologic condition
  • Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia by administering medications, fluids, and airway support
Collaboration and Support
  • Collaborates with department team to achieve desired patient/unit outcomes
  • Acts as a resource to peers and other health-related professionals
  • Assumes charge responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree graduate of accredited nursing program
  • Master's degree graduate of Nurse Anesthetist program
  • 2+ years working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Physical Demands: Medium Work, lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
