About the Role

Fairview Range is seeking a skilled Laboratory Care Technician to join our team in Hibbing, MN. As a Laboratory Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality, proficient, and professional services to patients, families, and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy at various sites to meet patient and family needs.
  • Follow established guidelines to obtain specimens and perform procedures.
  • Transport blood and body fluid under proper conditions and in a timely and safe manner.
  • Accurately enter orders and collection information into the Laboratory Information System and associated subsystems.
  • Provide results in the LIS/HIS and reports over the phone.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory desired.
  • Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Course desired.
  • Training as a phlebotomist, clinical assistant, MLA, MLT, MT, or LPN, or one year of experience in healthcare-related work.
