About the Job:

This Phlebotomist role is a 3-month assignment supporting our client's medical facility in Merritt Island, FL.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.20-$19.80, depending on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collect high-quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing according to established protocols.
  2. Maintain excellent communication with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  3. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients across various age groups.
  4. Process specimens accurately and efficiently.
  5. Enter orders, verify patient data, and retrieve relevant information using approved sources.
Requirements:
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  2. At least 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience is required.
