Job Summary

We are seeking self-motivated and reliable part-time supervisors to lead and direct our Academic Call Center teams at Penn State University. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the workflow of approximately 10 to 20 telephone interviewers, ensuring quality assurance monitoring of interviews and interviewer performance, providing interviewer and project training, and acting as a resource for interviewers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Call Center Teams: Lead and direct the workflow of approximately 10 to 20 telephone interviewers in accordance with academic research protocol.
  • Quality Assurance Monitoring: Monitor interviews and interviewer performance to ensure high-quality data collection.
  • Interviewer and Project Training: Provide training to interviewers and project staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Resource and Support: Act as a resource and support for interviewers, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong Interpersonal and Motivational Skills: Enjoy working with diverse populations and possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
  • Excellent Time Management and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
