Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Deliver the highest level of service to our guests, exceeding their expectations at every turn.
    • Provide exceptional service to internal customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Handle guest and employee complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, communicating any issues to management promptly.
    • Maintain positive relationships with guests and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and teamwork.
  • Financial
    • Ensure compliance with hotel, company, and local regulations regarding money handling and licensing.
  • Operational
    • Welcoming and assisting guests with their luggage and belongings, delivering parcels and packages to their rooms.
    • Providing guests with accurate directions to local attractions, knowledge of daily events, and completing off-property runs as requested.
    • Assisting the Concierge desk during peak periods and performing duties of Door Attendants.
    • Attending meetings and training sessions as required by management.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, lobby, and luggage storage.
  • People Development
    • Supporting Swire Hotels' cultural and people development initiatives.
  • Other Duties
    • Attending training sessions and meetings as required.
    • Exhibiting responsible behavior and representing the hotel team and Swire Hotels positively.
    • Maintaining strong relationships with business partners and other organizations.
    • Reading and adhering to the hotel's Employee Handbook and policies.
    • Ensuring high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
    • Responding to changes within Guest Experience, as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.
    Requirements
    • Must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential job functions.
    • Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to stand for entire shifts.
    • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary languages used in the workplace.
    • Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
    • Maintaining regular attendance and adhering to hotel standards.
    • Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
    • Complying with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    • Maintaining a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
    • Being attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow team members.
    • Greeting and welcoming guests in accordance with hotel standards.
    • Familiarity with all in-house groups and emergency procedures.
    • Handling check-in and check-out processes efficiently and courteously.
    • Performing tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Providing information to guests regarding restaurants, transportation, and entertainment within the property.
