Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bedford, Texas.

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and performing diagnostic procedures. You must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to the success of our organization, and you will have a significant impact on the patient experience.

Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in Mammography
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • Continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school
  • BLS
  • Digital and 3D mammography experience required
  • 2 years of experience in Mammography preferred
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad preferred
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
  • Prior quality control experience preferred
