Description:

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will perform a comprehensive range of accounting duties, including general ledger maintenance, budget preparation, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Business Office Personnel in maintaining the general ledger, preparing budgets, and producing financial statements as required.
• Participate in the annual audit process.
• Contribute to project teams for strategic planning.
• Provide training and backup for other Finance Department functions.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• Experience with automated accounting systems, electronic spreadsheets, and word processing software.
• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and internal control procedures.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Capacity to work independently.
• Conscientious, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks online experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid NH Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required.
• Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks are required.

Salary: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
