About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Simulation team as a Simulation and Skills Lab Operations Specialist at Joyce University. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional support for simulation and skills lab operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulation and Skills Lab Operations: Assist with the preparation and setup of nursing skills and simulation labs, ensuring that all equipment, manikins, and supplies are accurately and timely set up.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to faculty and students in the use of simulation and skills lab equipment, including the medical supply room and computer-based media.
  • Scenario Support: Assist in role-playing applications by reading scenarios, reviewing setup checklists, and providing verbal cues for understanding.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and reset simulation, skills labs, and debrief rooms, including restocking supply carts and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that materials and equipment are received, updated, and in good working condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless simulation and skills lab operations.
  • Professional Development: Participate in mandatory team and staff meetings, training sessions, and other staff activities to enhance professional development.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Combination of education, training, and/or experience that demonstrates the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of this position.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Certification
Terms of Employment
  • Location: Draper, UT
  • Employment Status: Full-time
  • Hours of Employment: Monday-Friday, 30+ hours/week that may include Saturdays/Evenings
  • Pay Type: Hourly
